The third variant of 10 Rufiyaa Banknote are in circulation since 9th April 2026.
In the announcement, the reasons for a new print of banknotes is the increasing demand for banknotes in the economy and due to worn out banknotes in circulation. It mentions the 10 Rufiyaa was brought on 30 March 2026 was to be released into circulation on 1st of April 2026. Later it delayed the release to 9th April 2026.
This 10 Rufiyaa banknote is signed by the current Governor Ahmed Munawar and is dated 31 July 2025 . 6 Safar 1447
